Enghien-Soisy racecourse is situated in the communes of Soisy-sous-Montmorency and Eaubonne, around 1km from the commune of Enghien-les-Bains. It was opened on 15th April 1879 and is a venue for both flat races, held on its turf track, and trotting races, held on a 1,300m sand track with the rail on the left. The trotting track was built in 1922 and the whole site was renovated in 1986 when a powerful floodlighting system was put in place, allowing evening races to be held. The racecourse can hold up to 20,000 spectators, including 3,000 in the stands.
