Spotlight on its outdoor activities
Saint-Cloud racecourse, which covers an area of 75 hectares right in the heart of the city, is the only Parisian racecourse to have the rail on the left.
Visitors to the racecourse can cheer on their favourites in the top-quality thoroughbred races, or take advantage of the numerous free beach-themed activities on offer, including badminton, sandcastle-making, pétanque, bungee trampolining and various other outdoor games.
Racegoers are also invited to tickle their taste buds at one of the racecourse’s many refreshment options, such as the panoramic restaurant, bars and barbecues...not forgetting, of course, the ice cream, crepe and waffle stands!
CARACTERISTIQUES
L'hippodrome s'étend sur 75 hectares sur le plateau de la Fouilleuse au pied du Mont-Valérien, aux confins de quatre communes (Saint-Cloud, Rueil-Malmaison, Garches et Suresnes).
Les pistes s'étendent sur 20 hectares et comprennent une piste de 2300 mètres, une ligne droite de 900 mètres, une ligne d'arrivée de 500 mètres en légère montée et 15 départs différents (800 m à 3 100 m).
L'hippodrome est équipé de 144 boxes.
